During this\u00a0time, ChemSAR has achieved its fi rst outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>The partners have jointly created a draft for the\u00a0standard operational procedures to be used in HNS\u00a0incidents at sea. These have already been tested\u00a0in tabletop exercises and lessons learnt have been\u00a0taken into account in the development work.<\/p>\n<p>The partners have also outlined the intended\u00a0e-learning platform, contents of which will be\u00a0formulated as other work packages progress. The\u00a0partners have collected background information\u00a0for the development of the chemical databank\u00a0and diff erent alternatives for the contents have\u00a0been weighed up. The databank features were also\u00a0tested in the tabletop exercises.<\/p>\n<p>The tabletop\u00a0exercises themselves involved not only project\u00a0partners but also experts from other stake-holder\u00a0organisations, such as Tallink, Estonian Maritime\u00a0Academy, SYKE and EMSA.<\/p>\n<p>ChemSAR has gained exceptionally lot of publicity\u00a0all over the Baltic Sea Region and beyond.
