R\u00e4ikk\u00e4 has been the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Turku since August 2017.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Researchers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Elisa Aaltola, University of Turku, Finland<\/p>\n<p>Elisa Aaltola has focused her prior research on animal philosophy, environmental ethics, and normative moral psychology. Recently, she has explored particularly akrasia and the role of emotions in moral decision-making. Aaltola has published nearly 40 peer-reviewed articles, three edited volumes and six books on the above themes.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Jukka Varelius, University of Turku, Finland<\/p>\n<p>Jukka Varelius is a Research Fellow at the Department of Philosophy, Contemporary History, and Political Science at the University of Turku, Finland.<br \/>\nHis research interests focus on questions of applied ethics.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Juho Ritola, University of Turku, Finland<\/p>\n<p>Juho Ritola has researched questions in the theory of argument, critical thinking, and epistemology.
