April 9, 6:00 PM | Newcomers’ Evening. <\/strong>Curious to meet fellow doctoral researchers and expand your academic network? Join us for a relaxed Newcomers\u2019 Evening! The event is organised by three different doctoral program associations that represent three different faculties; DocSoBe (Faculty of Social Sciences), Docturne (Faculty of Education) and JUNecto (Faculty of Humanities). We’ll gather in Proffan kellari’s cabinet (Rehtorinpellonkatu 6, Turku) from 6\u201310 PM. <\/strong>There is no official program, just a great opportunity to get to know other doctoral researchers in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Feel free to bring your own snacks, and drinks can be purchased at the venue at your own expense. The event is free of charge and requires no registration. Everyone \u2013 from brand-new to more experienced doctoral researchers \u2013 is warmly welcome! Note: this event replaces the after-work meeting on this day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n April 17, 10:00 AM\u201312:00 PM | Zoom Writing Workshop.<\/strong> Looking for motivation and structure for your writing? Join DocSoBe’s Friday Zoom Writing Workshop! These sessions provide a supportive space to focus on your writing or other tasks alongside fellow doctoral researches. The workshop facilitator will guide the session and make sure that regular breaks are taken, helping everyone stay focused and productive. The workshop runs every Friday from April 17 to June 12, except on May 1 (May Day). No registration is needed \u2013 just join the permanent Zoom link and start writing!
