Lauantaina esitelm\u00f6iv\u00e4t Sebastian Gardner (University College, Lontoo), Peter Myrdal (Uppsala), Kai Hauser (Technische Universit\u00e4t Berlin), Hemmo Laiho (Turku), Tomas Ekenberg (Uppsala) ja Justin Steinberg (Brooklyn College).<\/p>\n

Sunnuntaina lauteille nousivat puolestaan Valtteri Viljanen (Turku), John Carriero (UCLA\/dosentti@UTU), Arto Repo (Turku), Lilli Alanen (Uppsala), Olli Koistinen (Turku) sek\u00e4 Joseph Almog ja Jani Sinokki (Turku).<\/p>\n

TUCEMEMS (Turku Center for Medieval and Early Modern Studies) organized a high level international conference at the phil unit last week end, professor Olli Koistinen being the leading organizer. Two day seminar titled A TUCEMEMS Conference on Early Modern Philosophy: Understanding the World and Human Beings <\/em>included a large variety of presentations on topics rangin from Augustine to Immanuel Kant.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s speakers were Sebastian Gardner (University College, London), Peter Myrdal (Uppsala), Kai Hauser (Technische Universit\u00e4t Berlin), Hemmo Laiho (Turku), Tomas Ekenberg (Uppsala) and Justin Steinberg (Brooklyn College).<\/p>\n

On sunday presentations were delivered by Valtteri Viljanen (Turku), John Carriero (UCLA\/docent@UTU), Arto Repo (Turku), Lilli Alanen (Uppsala), Olli Koistinen (Turku) and Joseph Almog with Jani Sinokki (Turku).<\/p>\n
