{"id":6,"date":"2020-03-26T10:20:24","date_gmt":"2020-03-26T10:20:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogit.utu.fi\/fosterc\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2020-03-26T16:16:52","modified_gmt":"2020-03-26T14:16:52","slug":"about-us","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogit.utu.fi\/fosterc\/about-us\/","title":{"rendered":"About Us"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Universitat Polit\u00e8cnica de Val\u00e8ncia&nbsp; (UPV, Spain) represented by INGENIO (CSIC-UPV) is the responsible for coordination and project management.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ingenio.upv.es\/en\/Adela-Garcia-Aracil\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Adela Garc\u00eda Aracil<\/a>&nbsp;researcher is the project coordinator.  <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ingenio.upv.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">INGENIO (CSIC-UPV)<\/a>&nbsp;is a joint research institute of the Spanish National Research Council (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.csic.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">CSIC<\/a>) and the Polytechnic University of Valencia (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.upv.es\/\" target=\"_blank\">UPV<\/a>).  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utu.fi\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"The University of Turku (opens in a new tab)\">The University of Turku<\/a> collaborates in the FOSTERC project reporting. The person in charge in University of Turku is Professor <a href=\"eila.lindfors@utu.fi\">Eila Lindfors<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our activities encompass:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Research on science and innovation: the emergence and evolution of technology, the organizational processes that facilitate their development and the policies that support and steer them<\/li><li>A broad set of training and teaching activities oriented to professionals and graduate students.<\/li><li>Dissemination activities aimed at engaging national and international stakeholders in science and innovation, public sector departments and agencies, firms, and private foundations.
