Cruise ships sail daily from Turku Harbour to Stockholm and back. There are international flights arriving directly to Turku. Alternatively, one can arrive at Helsinki-Vantaa airport and continue to Turku by bus. (On the Helsinki-Vantaa–Turku bus route, one often needs to change buses in Espoo, but the change is very smooth and the bus drivers take care of everything.)

Find information on travelling to Turku and getting around the city here. A taxi ride between the conference venue and Turku airport takes about 15 minutes.

Accomodation

Hamburger Börs Kauppiaskatu 6
Scandic Julia Eerikinkatu 4
Centro Hotel Yliopistonkatu 12a
Original Sokos Hotel City Börs Eerikinkatu 11
For a less expensive no-frills alternative
Omena Hotel Turku, Humalistonkatu 7.
Situated a couple of blocks further from the university, right by the side of the river Aura there is also the fancier Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel, Linnankatu 32.

The symposium will take place at the premises of the University of Turku, building Publicum (street address, for taxis and car navigators is Assistentinkatu 7).
