Photo by Jarmo Malmsten.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Project partners from Denmark, Finland, Lithuania and Sweden gathered to Copenhagen this week to discuss cross-border exercises and short-term staff exchange in the OIL SPILL project (Work Package 3, Group of Activity 3.1.).<\/p>\n<p>Participants represented the Southwest Finland Emergency Services, Danish Civil Protection League, \u00d6stra G\u00f6taland Fire and Rescue Service, Fire and Rescue Department of Lithuania, and the University of Turku.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting was successful. Forthcoming events and ongoing preparations were reviewed and new ideas initiated.
