Rauma is located in the western coast of Finland, in the southern Satakunta region. Rauma is a small city of approx. 40 000 inhabitants. All conference locations are at a walking distance and there will be no need for the use of local public transport.

Rauma is easily accessible from the directions of Turku or Pori along the road E8, and from the direction of Tampere along the route 12.

There are regular bus connections to Rauma from Pori, Turku, Tampere and Helsinki among others. The bus station of Rauma (Matkahuolto) is located at Tallikedonkatu 13, 26100 Rauma. Travel services: tel. +358 200 4038 (subject to call charges), open Mon–Fri 8.00–16.30.
There are no passenger train connections to Rauma, so we recommend bus travel. Passenger trains go to the nearest cities (Turku, Pori) from which you can continue your journey to Rauma by bus.

Helsinki airport (HEL):
From the Helsinki airport you can continue your travel to Rauma by travelling first to Helsinki center via train (Pisararata) or by bus. Both options and tickets are available at www.hsl.fi or in HSL-application. From Helsinki it is recommended to continue to Rauma by bus.
Turku airport (TKU):
The nearest airport to Rauma is in Turku (approx. 94 km). Tickets and timetables for the public transport in Turku are found at www.foli.fi.
