This ICZM plan draft is based on thematic analysis, field-work, international knowledge exchange, consultations with some interest groups and discussions with management group members of the L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru case.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Public assessment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The information about the ICZM draft and public participation meetings are also visible on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.haljala.ee\/uldinfo\/-\/asset_publisher\/1WbsKsyztH4w\/content\/rannikuala-integreeritud-korralduskava-avalikustamise-protsess?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.haljala.ee%2Fuldinfo%3Fp_p_id%3D101_INSTANCE_1WbsKsyztH4w%26p_p_lifecycle%3D0%26p_p_state%3Dnormal%26p_p_mode%3Dview%26p_p_col_id%3Dcolumn-2%26p_p_col_pos%3D2%26p_p_col_count%3D4\"><strong>the<\/strong> <strong>webpages of Haljala municipality<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/viru-nigula.ee\/et\/uudised-ja-teated\/-\/asset_publisher\/CuPohIn7JKIW\/content\/id\/19091251?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fviru-nigula.ee\"><strong>of Viru-Nigula munic<\/strong><strong>ipality<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are <strong>two public discussion meetings<\/strong> of the ICZM draft plan in L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru coastal area: in <strong>Karepa community house on 17th April 2018 at 16.00<\/strong> and in <strong>V\u00f5<\/strong><strong>su beach-<\/strong><strong>club on 30th April 2018 at <\/strong><strong>16.00<\/strong>. The infor<a href=\"http:\/\/viru-nigula.ee\/et\/uudised-ja-teated\/-\/asset_publisher\/CuPohIn7JKIW\/content\/id\/19091251?redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fviru-nigula.ee\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-324 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blogit.utu.fi\/sustainbaltic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/87\/2018\/04\/L_Viru-poster-24-April-212x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"393\" height=\"557\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogit.utu.fi\/sustainbaltic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/87\/2018\/04\/L_Viru-poster-24-April-212x300.jpg 212w, https:\/\/blogit.utu.fi\/sustainbaltic\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/87\/2018\/04\/L_Viru-poster-24-April.jpg 399w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 393px) 100vw, 393px\" \/><\/a>mation about these events is presented on several posters in public spaces of the coastal area, and circulated through the e-mail contacts. The <strong>local newspaper of Viru-Nig<\/strong><strong>ula Teataja<\/strong> published <a href=\"http:\/\/viru-nigula.ee\/documents\/7609076\/18403548\/VNT_eesti_marts_2018.pdf\/10b6f008-9e63-479e-b26f-e92a2ae16c05\">an article<\/a> about the ICZM process and the public discussion event as well.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the project team currently prepares the web-based participatory GIS tool, which would generate flexible ways to give feedback to the ICZM draft plan.\u00a0 These two public events in Karepa and in V\u00f5su would indicate if there is need to organise more meetings with interest groups. The presented public feedback would be carefully proceeded, discussed in the management group of the L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru case and more integrated into the draft of ICZM plan in September 2018.\u00a0 The final ICZM plan of L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru will be published after the reflections based on the public feedback in mid-November 2018.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The ICZM draft plan of L\u00e4\u00e4ne-Viru case was published\u00a0on 27th March 2018 on the webpage of Estonian Life Science University.
