The 20th Nordic Demographic Symposium will be held on June 14–16, 2017 in Turku (Åbo), on the southwest coast of Finland. The biennial symposium brings together researchers, students and other experts especially from the Nordic and Baltic countries.
The main theme of the NDS2017 will be Demography and Social Inequalities. The invited keynote speakers will address social inequalities from different perspectives, but contributions to the parallel sessions are welcome from all areas of demographic research (see themes). The symposium is organised by the Finnish Demographic Society in collaboration with the University of Turku Department of Social Research, TITA Research consortium, and Institute of Migration.

Notification of acceptance by 1 March 2017
