Hi all!
The Association for Doctoral Researchers of Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Turku, DocSoBe, invites you to the start of the autumn semester event on the 12th of September at the Unica Kulma from 5 pm onwards. Everybody is welcome and we especially hope new doctoral researchers will come to our event. This will be a great opportunity both to get to know what DocSoBe is all about and meet your fellow doctoral researchers across the faculty. Our speaker of the event Miia Ijäs-Idrobo from the labour union FUURT talks about important information that ought to be known by all doctoral researchers, especially in light of the results of the recent survey of early career researchers. She is also available to respond to any questions you might have about your doctoral journey.
We offer you buffet food that begins the event at 5 pm and there is a possibility to sauna (bring your swimsuits for that) alongside general hanging around and getting to know new people. The event is free of charge.
