Writing Rituals
Docturne organizes Writing Rituals for doctoral researchers twice a week. During the writing ritual, we set our goals for the day, meditate, stretch and focus on writing our own works. Feel free to join every session, every once in a while, or however suits you best!
WHERE: Hybrid at Educarium, Rauma Torni and Zoom.

Docturne Chess Club
Do you like to play chess? Or do you want to learn how to? Join the Docturne Chess Club! No previous experience nor registrations needed. Chess boards and clocks provided by attendees. If you have any questions, contact the board via email docturne@utu.fi or through the Docturne Whatsapp group.

Docturne Arts Club
You are welcome to join the Docturne Art Club Whatsapp group by emailing docturne@utu.fi or texting Docturne WhatsApp. We plan all sorts of artsy activities and workhops. Come and share ideas or help organize workshops with other members!

Docturne Coffee Breaks
The Docturne coffee breaks offer you an informal platform where you can chill and chat with the other doctoral researchers. Take a steaming cup of coffee or tea and join us every other Tuesday (even weeks) at 14–14.30!

Docturne Mingle
Would you like to get to know your fellow doctoral researchers and postdocs, share your research interests, your successes and maybe even your bloopers over a glass of sparkling (water or wine)? Docturne Mingle is a chance for you to get to know your extended circle of doctoral researchers and postdocs!
Previous Docturne Mingles have included various mingling activities and relaxed interest groups of doctoral researchers and alumni.
