16.10. Art Walking Tour / Taidekierros

JUNecto is organizing an art tour event on Wednesday 16^th of October at 4 pm. The event aims to get to know the university’s art collection.

Emma Vuolaslempi, a doctoral researcher in the art history department, will give the tour and guide us on this art walk.

Emma has written about the university’s art collection here in this blog, and you could become familiar with the artworks in advance.

The program starts at Arcanum’s lobby on Wednesday 16^th of October at 4 pm, and we will walk to the University Hill and see the other artworks and installations.

The tour also includes the most recent installation (Microcosmos) that takes place in Agora’s lobby.

We estimate that the tour can take around one hour, and after that, we’ll go to Portti Bar (Hämeenkatu 7).

JUNecto järjestää taidekierroksen keskiviikkona 16.10. klo 16:00‒17:00. Tapahtumassa tutustutaan yliopiston taidekokoelmaan.

Taidekierroksen oppaana toimii Emma Vuolaslempi, joka on väitöskirjatutkija taidehistorian oppiaineessa. Emma on kirjoittanut yliopiston taidekokoelmasta blogiin, jossa voit tutustua taideteoksiin etukäteen.

Taidekierros alkaa Arcanumin aulassa keskiviikkona 16.10. klo 16:00. Kävelemme sieltä Yliopistonmäelle katsomaan muita taideteoksia ja installaatioita.

Näemme myös uusimman installaation (Microcosmos), joka on Agoran aulassa.

Taidekierros on arviolta tunnin pituinen. Sen jälkeen menemme Portti baariin (Hämeenkatu 7).
