Introducing the OIL SPILL Project Office at the University of Turku (3/4)
Minna-Liina Ojala started as Communication Manager in October 2019. She has been part of the planning and execution of communication in small development cooperation projects. If compared, OIL SPILL is much more extensive when it comes to the budget and number of participants. Minna-Liina has, however, researched two multiform international projects, which has provided her with insights into the processes and progress of such enterprises.
“I have had profound discussions with skilled project actors, and I got to follow their projects intensively – but I was a researcher. Therefore, it is now interesting to get the first-hand-experience as a real member of a large multi-scalar project. I am sure my understanding of the actual project cycle deepens a lot during OIL SPILL.”
Indeed, Minna-Liina looks forward to increasing her expertise, getting involved in the activities, and meeting more Project Partners in person.
Physical sticky notes are still useful! At least that is what Minna-Liina hopes as she strives to keep up with her new multi-part jobs at the Turku School of Economics.
