Nils Klim Webinar Series: Transitional Justice in Settler States: Challenges, Contradictions and Possibilities

Nils Klim webinar series brings together leading scholars and professionals to explore key themes in transitional justice in settler‑state contexts, with particular focus on the Sámi Truth and Reconciliation Commissions. Supported by the Nils Klim Prize and organised in cooperation with the ERC‑funded MARCEN project, the series consists of six online conversations, open to all via Zoom and held in English.

Drawing on perspectives from Indigenous studies, law, political science, history, sociology and creative writing, the discussions examine how transitional justice unfolds in states without formal political transitions, and how questions of justice, responsibility and settler colonialism arise across Sápmi and beyond.
