The Turku Practical Philosophers’ Club (KLUBI) is an informal researcher and staff member seminar at the Philosophy Unit of Turku University. It is organised by the Philosophy Unit and the Center for the Study of Bioethics, Finnish Unit. We have two-hour seminars monthly, and there is a half-day session at the end of the terms. The seminars consist of two/three presentations directly followed by discussion. Presenters are our own researchers, and philosophers from other philosophy departments in Finland and abroad. Participants of the seminar are doctoral students, teaching personal and professors of the Philosophy Unit. In its current format, the KLUBI was established in autumn 2012 as a direct follower of a very similar KERHO seminar at the unit. In case you would like to participate our seminar, please contact Marko Ahteensuu (mataah@utu.fi) or Helena Siipi (helsii@utu.fi).
