Turun yliopisto – University of Turku industrial seminar course last session of 2022 was with our guest company, The Upright Project. They encouraged us to think about responsible organizations and individuals. Upright has developed the upright’s net impact model, which utilizes key methods to analyze scientific articles including hierarchical bayesian modeling, natural language processing, convex optimization and deep learning, to deliver the organization’s impact. I highly encourage you know explore more about the project!

In our session besides to learn about Upright’s net impact model we reflected upon what is important for us to guide organizations and individuals to act responsibly. How can we all encourage transparency in our complex systems, is a good question.  Good food for the thought! and as always UTU students keep surprising me!
