Philosophers’ Club Turku is an informal research seminar of the Department of Philosophy at the University of Turku, Finland. Typically, we meet in the department seminar room on Fridays at noon. Two-hour sessions consist of a presentation followed by discussion. We welcome presentations on all philosophical topics, while the strengths of the department lie in applied ethics, early modern philosophy, Kant, metaphysics, philosophy of mind and perception, and political philosophy. If you are in the area and would like to participate, please contact Susanne Uusitalo (susuus[at]utu.fi) or Hemmo Laiho (heanla[at]utu.fi).
