Today was our first Industrial Seminar session from 2022, with a fast growing Finnish company from Salo: EVONDOS. The vision and labor that the company is pursuing has an impact in the life of many seniors in Nordic countries nowadays.
The session allowed us to reflect and generate ideas upon how to expand Evondos-robot services for actual seniors. Indirectly it invited us to think about what we want to experience when we get to be elders. How do we want technology, such as Evondos-robot, to support us to have an independent life while taking care of important activities for our well being, such as taking our medicines on time. What possibilities do we have for the seniors of today and the seniors of tomorrow.
Thank you Sari for bringing the Evondos-robot, and allowing us to see how it operates and share your insights with us. I also want to thank to Arja, a senior citizen from Turku who was willing to join us in our session and give her insights from her perspective. Last but not least, I want to thank all the participants, who did their best to contribute in this session while collaborating among them. We have outstanding students at University of Turku.
