A three-year program InnoPlay 2018–2022 focuses on craft design and technology (CDT) in the education of the youngest children from kindergarten to second grade. Our aim is to develop pedagogical methods which integrate craft, environmental and technology education and mathematics in ways that motivate younger learners; play, exploring and self expression. Main principal is to support learning by bringing up children’s interests and point of views into multisubjectal (STEAM) learning projects. InnoPlay 2018–2022 program has started in August 2018.

InnoPlay 2018–2021 program is a collaboration of four partners where Department of Teacher Education of University of Turku is playing a coordinating role.  Other partners are Faculty of Educational Sciences of University of Helsinki, University of Tampere and Innokas Network.
