Expected outcome

The expected outcome of LogOn Baltic is to present solutions to improve the interplay between logistics & ICT competence and spatial planning thus strengthening SMEs competitiveness in the BSR.

LogOn Baltic offers a unique opportunity to deepen the BSR network by providing vital results for transnational co-operation and improving operational conditions of SME’s in the BSR.

The transfer of knowledge on logistics information systems will accelerate the learning in the New Member States and contribute to their integration in BSR business activities. Partners of the public and private sector already carry out a wide range of “best practices”, especially ICT applications used locally, that can be adopted by other partners with similar needs.

The public sector in each participating country will use the results to develop the domestic business environment but also in co-operation with other national or regional development agencies finding efficient solutions for spatial planning.

LogOn Baltic offers a unique opportunity to deepen the BSR network by providing vital results for transnational co-operation and improving operational conditions of SME’s in the BSR.

It examines the strengths and weaknesses of the region as a whole and builds networks of professionals that facilitate trade and transport between the BSR countries. LogOn Baltic offers a forum for solving transnational logistics ICT and spatial planning related problems that arise in the process. LogOn Baltic will outline and suggest concrete extension projects on a transnational level.
