SOPs under development

ChemSAR WP2 workshop was held 21-22 November in Brugges, Belgium. Operational plans & standard operating procedures in SAR operations involving HNS were under development; partners were setting the focus and scheduling the benchmarking activities.

The objective of the WP2 is to harmonize the level of know-how and capacities in maritime search and rescue (SAR) operations in HNS incidents by developing common operational plans. It is essential that the operational plans and procedures used by different countries during HNS incident rescue operations are as standardized as possible to enable effective and safe rescue operations.
