The Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme organised a photo competition for projects to celebrate its 30th anniversary. The results were published at the end of September and ResQU2’s picture won the category of “Your project in one picture”. Altogether 73 photos were submitted.
In addition to celebrating the Interreg BSR programme, the aim of the competition was to highlight photos that demonstrate project achievements and help understand at times very complex issues. The competition had four categories: “Cooperation”, “Your project in one picture”, “Your project result in use”, and “30 (years of Interreg)”. The jury of the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat chose the best picture for each category. The winning ResQU2 photo, seen above, was taken by Jarno Lehtoranta, Helsinki City Rescue Department. It demonstrates how rescue authorities and services are saving people across borders. The preparedness in case of maritime incidents is improved in transnational cooperation as best practices are being shared. Other winning project teams were BalticRIM, Baltic Game Industry, EcoDesign Circle, and GoSmart BSR!
ResQU2 congratulates its fellow projects!
